I am a board-certified Psychiatrist (medical doctor) providing virtual care throughout NY and PA. I taper medications. This means most of my patients want to safely reduce or ultimately stop taking psychiatric medications, and I guide them through that process safely and at their own pace. I include therapy in my 30-min follow up sessions, though do not offer weekly 1-hour therapy sessions. Many of my patients also work with a therapist.

Maggie Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA with over 20 years of experience, founder of Café Counseling, a practice that fosters an environment where people can come as they are and have a safe space to explore what really matters to them. This is counseling with the ease of a coffee shop conversation–meaningful, meandering, filled with depth, laughter, tears and time to explore your thoughts, feelings and fears with acceptance and empathy. Where laughter is allowed and anger is aired, you have the space to make this your own journey. No pressure, just possibility.
Creativity is part of our humanness. It is innate. I include art and art making to help people explore themselves, sort through feelings and experiences, develop self-awareness, and more.
